About Zac

In high school I chose peer tutoring as an elective, which was a class in which I got to assist special need students as a high school student. After that, I realized I wanted to pursue a degree in education and earned an Associate of Arts in Teaching. I went on from there to work towards a Bachelor's Degree of English with a minor in History (U.S, History is my favorite of the histories.

I have worked the past 2 years as a Classroom Assistant in a Special Education classroom, as well as a part time tutor at a college. At that college I tutor Integrated Reading and Writing (INRW) classes, English 1301 and 1302, and History 1301 and 1302. My favorite part about tutoring is helping students for fully grasp concepts, learn some good study habits, and make better grades!

I lack approximately 12 hours from earning an Bachelor's Degree in English with the focus of creative writing. I have years of experience tutoring college level English courses. Through college level tutoring, I have experience in helping students with writing, grammar, and proofreading their essays. I made high grades in all college level English courses and thoroughly enjoy helping others make good grades as well!

I have completed the hours needed to earn a minor in History, and have thoroughly enjoyed American History from the time I was a small child. I now have multiple years experience tutoring college level 1301 and 1302 American History. I love making American History as interesting as possible for students, helping students improve grades, and helping students obtain a better grasp on concepts within American History.

I love tutoring, helping people, and the wonderful word of academia. Please feel free to contact if you need assistance, and I will do anything within my power to aid you academically!

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

GED

I took and passed a GED exam years ago and passed on the first try. Now I like trying to help other students pass their exams.
