My name is Justin and I am currently a student at Texas State University. I'm pursuing my Masters in English and plan to teach high school or college level students.
Helping people has always been a passion of mine, which is one reason, of many, that I decided to become a teacher. My passion is more towards the field of English but I also excel at other subjects as well. I graduated number 38 out of 230 in my class with Honors and entered college with 26 credit hours (almost making me a sophomore), which just shows the amount of dedication I have to the field of education.
I am definitely a team-oriented person; I love working together with a close group of people to get a problem done. I was on my high school tennis team, Speech and Debate team and a member of the marching band. In my free time I like to write, draw, listen to music and hang out with friends (just so I don't sound like a drone).
I've devoted my life to reading and writing since I was a little boy. As someone who is younger in age, I can relate better to my students and help them understand what they're actually doing, as opposed to teaching them just how to pass. I focus on the next step, how to get from point A to point Z. My goal is to make each student as excited about English as I always have been.
I'm available to tutor every evening after 6:00 and occasionally on the weekends. I can travel to students, I just need prior notice to any schedule changes as I am a busy college student.
I look forward to taking on some teaching challenges and I hope you contact me soon! My name is Justin and I am currently a student at Texas State University. I'm pursuing my Masters in English and plan to teach high school or college level students.

I am a college student that is majoring in English. All of my life I have excelled at all aspects of English and everything that it has to offer. I believe that English is the most important subject to learn because it is at the focus of everyday life. You need English in any job that you take in the future. I know that I can successfully translate confusing topics to my students and help improve grades.
Grammar has always been a key component of my life. I grew up in a family of country folk and, being vastly different from everyone else, I adopted my own hobbies away from hunting and fishing, hobbies like reading and writing. From an early age, I've read every book that I could get my hands on and I've come to understand grammar more than anyone I know. I still correct my own mother to this day on her poor grammar.
Reading has always come easy to me, whether it was reading a book or a test over reading. In every STAAR test or SAT that I've taken, the reading and writing section was always where I excelled, making top scores every time I took it. Reading has been a very important part of my life and I want to make it an important part of other peoples lives as well.
I was an active member of my high school varsity tennis team all four years of school. I was top player for my last two years and I received training from an outside coach for three years. He was an amazing coach and taught me so many things about the sport. Tennis is my favorite past time and I would love to help train others who are passionate about the sport.
Writing isn't something that just comes easy to someone; it take practice. I have had about 10 years of writing practice in my life, not only in school but at my own leisure. In every STAAR test or SAT that I've taken, the reading and writing section was always where I excelled, making top scores every time I took it. Writing has been a very important part of my life and I want to make it an important part of other peoples lives as well.
