About Aaron

I was born and raised in San Antonio and have a gift for learning and education. Throughout school I've been able to help those around me understand difficult material. I'm an easy-going person with patience and a drive to help others. I believe that "learning to learn" is the key to content mastery.

I'm currently holding a full-time position where I write, test and debug code in C++ everyday. I've coded in C and C++ throughout my undergraduate and graduate college career. I was a programming tutor throughout my undergraduate and graduate college career as well. The faculty constantly referred underclassmen to me for guidance and tutoring. I have a passion for coding and programming and would love to share my knowledge and expertise.

I have the following credentials: double-Majored in Mathematics, undergrad; took 4 years of advanced math courses; and tutored math of varying levels throughout my undergrad career. I am also a professional Software Engineer. And I have tutored lower class men in C / C++ programming throughout my undergrad and graduate college career.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I began learning C during undergrad at St. Mary's University and have been using it as a subset of C and C# ever since. I've logged hundreds of hours of C tutoring and programming since 2005. With my Master's degree in Computer Science (M.Sc.), I'm more than qualified to teach and tutor C programming.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

Was very knowledgeable in interpreting programming code and helpful in debugging and explaining what each line of code does. All my questions were answered to satisfaction and I would hire again.
