Hi everyone, I have graduated from University of California Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Pure Mathematics! I also achieved an A.S.- T in Applied Mathematics from my former junior college 2015. To add, I am also the former president and founder of my college Mathematics Club. I have 9 years of tutoring experience.

Some more about me; my dream is to become a college mathematics professor and to research and discover more applications using Matrix theory in the 11th dimension to finally unlock String Theory and help prove Einstein's Unified Field Theory! During my time at University of California Santa Cruz I took Number Theory Math 110 and Graph Theory Math 115 because I was minoring in Theoretical Computer Science and these were perfect electives to satisfy the required courses to complete the Pure Math track. A huge part of the number theory course is modulo arithmetic, which is one of the foundations of discrete mathematics and another was Graph Theory which entailed matrix theory and many proofs involving trees. I also tutored many peers in my class and made friends in the Computer Science department that were taking the actual class called "Discrete Mathematics." I had them sit with me in the library while I worked on my own math homework and when they were stuck they would ask me for help. To their surprise, I would stop what I am doing, look at their papers, quickly write out the problems and solve them. It turned into such a big study group we ended up booking large rooms in the libraries and I had to use chalk boards and white boards to explain the material and it felt like I was tutoring the whole discrete math course at the university! Modulo arithmetic, set theory, relations and functions, sequences and series, and graph theory to name a few are my experiences not only tutoring discrete math but taught on a daily basis with my other students currently. I believe I am the best fit for Discrete Mathematics because I know how to do proofs and I have taken courses pertaining to specific subjects that are gone over in Discrete Mathematics.

I even tutored an electrical engineer who was forced to take a computer test for his job, after 30 years. He had forgotten some of the math, and requested my help immediately. His subject material was trigonometry mixed with Periodic Waves and Phasor Analysis pertaining to electricity. I actually rejected his request at the time, since I had never tutored trigonometry before, but he said that he had six tutors before me and none of them could handle the new material and that he needed my help. I studied the ASVAB back when I was in high school. I was looking into branches of intelligence & defense for our country. I mastered many books and helped my friends study for the ASVAB. My friends depended on me for teaching them mathematics. One went to the United States Military Academy at West Point and one went into the army to fight in Afghanistan through high test scores on the ASVAB. When I first began studying SAT math, I was getting stuck on almost every problem and was only able to achieve around 5-600 on the scale score range. But I kept studying it, going over problems, taking practice SAT tests from books and online, and I now score 750-800. I must have put in 300+ hours of studying just so I could tutor efficiently and correctly for the student(s). Best Calculus Tutor Ever!!

Ryan is by far the best calculus tutor I have found anywhere!! He asks for the syllabus and subject matter and looks them over/studies them on his own time to be ready for whatever we are working on. When he comes to teach me he is knowledgable about every subject that we've worked on so far and has a really good way of teaching hard material so that it doesn't feel so hard. My grade has dramatically improved and I have an A in the class now !
