About Aaron

I am a proficient and native user of sign language. I have experience in teaching American Sign Language as I have taught the subject at the college level as well as have tutored so many students in the language. I have such a passion about this beautiful and expressive language as I desire to help those who truly have an interest in the language become fluent in the language with a great understanding of the grammar rules, facial expressions and linguistics of it.

I also am proficient in mathematics as I have always loved mathematics for how it has helped me in a sense become a better critical thinker as well as a better problem solver. I do have a degree in Mathematics, but it is not the degree that has enabled me to help many people tackle their weakest subject and overcome it. It is rather my passion for teaching the subject in such a way that utilizes the learner's learning style with the use of visual aids that has helped many individuals to pass their course with confidence and develop a better relationship with mathematics.

Algebra-based Physics is another subject I can tutor in as I have taken courses in Physics in high school and college. I love Physics more than the other major science courses (biology and chemistry) because it is so math intensive. Physics really helps people understand how things work and develop a sense of appreciation for how everything works in this Universe.

Computer programming when it comes to Visual Basic, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc. is yet another subject that I am very passionate about as I have been programming since I was a teen. By having learned how to program, I have developed an appreciation for how games, websites, software all work and in turn, I am able to know how to make even better computer/web applications as well as websites as a Web Developer. As I have helped quite few individuals in this subject, I have been able to help them understand the simplicity of computer programming languages, yet making it challenging enough for them to go on to master the languages.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
