Hello! I graduated from SMU magna cum laude, phi beta kappa, with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in German. I also received honors distinction as well as being voted the top student in the foreign language and literature department as chosen by the faculty. Post-graduation I attended Medical School with an Academic Scholarship for 3 years before deciding that it was not a good fit for me as a career. While I transition to another profession, I want to teach as much as I can. Tutoring is always something I've loved. I volunteer to help people get their GED's in my free time, but if I am able to help out with more challenging material, through this website, I think I can provide outsized value due to my education and experience. I have over 7 years of post-high school scientific education. I am proficient in all sectors of science, and have done a considerable amount of research in Molecular Biology (specifically epigenetics).
