Bio

I am a CFA and CPA currently working on designing innovative stock indices for a major indices publisher. I have been tutoring accounting and finance major undergraduate and graduate students, and professionals, in private sessions, small group sessions, and online for several years.

I am a CFA and CPA currently working on designing innovative stock indices for a major indices publisher. I have been tutoring accounting and finance major undergraduate and graduate students, and professionals, in private sessions, small group sessions, and online for several years.

As a tutor, I strive to ensure my students are not only able to answer the questions they may have for homework or for work, but to understand the concepts of accounting to better apply accounting and finance principles to real life situations. I build my students up from the basic accounting principles, to being able to use those principles to find answers to complex, real world solutions.

I encourage my students to message me to schedule appointments, and to send me their work ahead of time so we can "hit the ground running" for our sessions. I do not like to waste my students valuable time and money, and I guarantee to come prepared for your lesson as you would expect a full time professor would.

I am a blue belt in Krav Maga under head US Instructor David Kahn, and also hold a Black Belt in Karate. I am the youngest American to ever reach the rank of blue belt in the IKMA- Gidon System. I hold an instructors certificate directly from Grandmaster Haim Gidon, which I received in Israel in 2011. I am also the first American to train in the IKMA- Gidon System school in Warsaw, Poland. I have been teaching martial arts for 4 years now, in the Bordentown, NJ school, at Rutgers University and TCNJ, small group lessons and private lessons.

Knowledgeable Tutor

Practice questions on the CPA exam on the first section on FAR. We went over the multiple choice questions and he didn't rush through any of the questions and gave real world examples.

Ben is a knowledgable and patient teacher. He uses a lot real-life examples to illustrate difficult concepts such as LIFO and FIFO. I would highly recommend Ben as a tutor!
