My daughter has struggled with Chemistry all semester. She just couldn't wrap her head around it. She had studied on her own and continued to get low grades on her tests and daily grades. On a whim we called Sarah the night before the exam, who had said Chemistry was one of her favorite subjects.
As soon as we got there for my daughter's session, Sarah told us she had several visual aids on her computer and even brought her college chemistry book along (the book helps since they don't have books to bring home in high school anymore.). I was extremely impressed with how prepared she was.
After my daughter received her grade of an 82 on her midterm, I could only imagine what the rest of her grades would have been if she had been studying with Sarah all semester. We are hoping to start a regular study session with Sarah this next semester. That way she can do well on all her tests. Thanks Sarah.
Great tutor! My son was having difficulty with freshman English, just 1 or 2 meetings with Sarah and he's making a high B! We're praying she can tutor in other subjects he's enrolled for Fall. Thank you Sarah you have given him a renewed confidence in his ability to achieve his goals!
I have been seeking someone for quite a while who could take some handwritten music and convert it to standard music notation, including lyrics. Sarah did that, as a great job, and she was very efficient and prompt. She is a nice young lady.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
