I have a degree in physics and am certified to teach high school math, physics, and chemistry. I work part-time as a math tutor for students grades K-12 at a private business and a math tutor at Collin College. I've also worked as a math tutor at Eastfield College, an undergraduate teaching assistant for Calculus III, and a long-term substitute for high school physics. During my time at my university, I gained several hours of classroom teaching experience with the UTeach program.

I plan to be a high school and college physics teacher in the future. I like math and physics because I find it fascinating we are able to describe, measure, and predict the actions of the universe with math.
My teaching method incorporates Socratic questioning to probe students' current knowledge and help them find a higher understanding. I also like to go over definitions and concepts related to the topics at hand as a point to build upon. I also make an effort to teach with pictures and colors whenever possible.
I would be most comfortable meeting in a coffee shop or library, but I am open to suggestions. I would be happy to print or bring resources for our meeting as long as I know what subject and topic you're looking to study.
