About Michelle

I love technology, arts and education! My passion for computers, teaching and photography are obvious when you meet me! I have kids and many senior citizens friends, whom I teach at every possible opportunity.

My background includes

I am an advocate for learners of all ages, learning technology and arts.
STEM careers are now for all people - regardless of background.

My volunteer activities include speaking to children, high school and college kids
on the numerous STEM careers - how to prepare, what classes to take and
suggested first step of professional preparation.

Professionally, I am a technical skills subject matter expert and a member of the
Obama Administrations' Counsel of IT Credentialing.

Let me help you with computer science and photography fundamentals, then help you advance and reach your

I am patient and can teach at any level - kids to senior citizens to veterans to executives.

I have had numerous public speaking engagements and trained others. My career has required that I
am comfortable speaking to audiences on photography, computer science careers, STEM labor statistics, etc. Numerous courses and books read have taught me how to have a strategy for presentations and the elements to deliver a great speech.

Often, I have spoken to groups of 2 to 2000.
In my professional career, I speak to students of all ages, technology customers and industry counsels. I know how to craft a presentation, with the right content and personality
by taking into consideration numerous factors.
Use of an individual's personality, experience, subject knowledge, and knowledge of audience is key!

My current career is workforce development management, that helps colleges, universities and high schools determine curriculum for technology students. I am a subject matter expert on STEM Careers. My passion is to highly encourage individuals to understand the various careers, salaries, knowledge and training needed.
I also consult individuals on choosing careers based on their life goals and what makes them happy.

I have over 25 years of experience. I have been an education consultant for Oracle, systems engineer for Sun Microsystems, system administrator for Alcatel Network Systems, and a datacenter/help desk manager for Texas Instruments. My undergrad degree is computer science, with an emphasis on hardware (electrical engineering).

My career has included writing and testing code, installing computers and UNIX operating systems, and very knowledgeable of numerous Oracle products.

I am excited to help you learn more about computers and digital photography. My family and friends run to me, in order to be taught or have concepts explained with patience and kindness. Let's work together to advance your learning of simple and complex subjects!
