Hi!

I'm Anthony. I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in English from Florida International University, a Master of Science in International Business from the University of Miami, and a Master of Science in Risk Management from Florida State University. My tutoring experience has primarily been focused on three main areas: English Literature, Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary, and English SAT/ACT. I have tutored undergraduate students who needed assistance with their essays and papers. After graduating with my B.A. in English, I had an opportunity to teach the English portion of the SAT/ACT for a year at a Huntington Learning Center. I worked mostly with high school students, but occasionally, worked with middle schoolers on grammar and reading comprehension.

When working with students, I prefer to work with students one at a time. However, I have worked with students in a group environment ranging from three to five students. Being able to work with individual students allows me to tailor the sessions based on their strengths and areas that need improvement. My goal is to help students build their confidence as a writer or test taker. Having written a number of essays throughout undergrad and graduate school and taken several standardized tests, I understand the challenges that students face. I am here to assist students or parents in any way possible. I am easy to reach and will respond quickly to your messages.
