I am a current PhD student at UT Dallas working on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing research. I have been a Graduate Teaching Assistant for nearly 4 years, where I have helped countless students navigate the difficult topics of AI, ML, and NLP.

I love helping new students dip their toes into these complex subjects, while also helping more experienced learners dive deep into very specific areas of CS, AI, ML, and NLP. These fields are exploding in relevance as AI becomes more and more advanced, and I want to help expand accessibility to these advancements.

I have over 10 years of Computer Science experience, programming in a wide swath of languages and paradigms. I am a published research scientist in the field of NLP. My focus is on teaching the topics which will help you understand modern Artificial Intelligence while also being able to build something practical yourself. I have over 5 years of industry experience, interning with Amazon Alexa’s Science team most recently, along with previous employment at an AI-powered hedge fund company.

I really want to help empower learners to try to grasp these difficult areas of CS. Whether it’s building your own chatbot, learning how gradient descent works in neural networks, learning about the history of AI, or training your own reinforcement learning system to play your favorite video game.
