Hello, everyone! Thank you for taking the time to show interest in my services.
A little bit to get to know me before I discuss my education and tutoring experience:
I consider myself to be very professional in any academic, tutoring, or job situation. I am a person that prioritizes being respectful and kind to others at all times, even when some might not be. I enjoy helping others learn subject matter that may be difficult to comprehend. In my free time I am usually exercising, watching sports, or spending time with my family.

Academics/Experience:
I am currently an attending student at The University of Texas at Arlington, studying mechanical engineering. I am a sophomore at UTA and I intend on receiving my Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering by May 2020. I attended high school at Red Oak ISD and graduated with a 3.0GPA. Throughout my high school career, I took a total of six math classes, the maximum available, while the requirement in the state of Texas is a minimum of 3-4 to graduate. Two of the math courses I took were AP level and I did take the AP tests for both, scoring a 4/5 on the AP Statistics test.

However, math is not my only forte. During high school, I took several other AP and Dual-Credit courses and graduated with 22 hours of college credit. Another course that my skills are strong in is AP Chemistry (Gen. Chem. I & II for college reference). While in high school, I took AP Chemistry as a junior and succeeded well enough to become the Lab Assistant/Teaching Assistant to my professor. Chemistry is, by far, the subject which my tutoring skills are most proficient and experienced in, but that is not to say that my tutoring skills in other subjects are not extremely proficient. At UTA, I have completed several math, physics, and engineering courses that apply to my specific major. I have obtained experience with programming in the C and MatLab languages, and have become extremely proficient in them. I have taken courses to design materials using computer aided design software called SolidWorks, and I am still learning this currently. Among the subjects I have gone through in college, programming is my strong point and would be the college-level subject that I am most comfortable with tutoring, besides any math or physics course.
Tutor Specific Policies:
If, for any reason, there is the need for a cancellation, I would require a two-hour cancellation notification before the arranged tutoring time. Of course, if there are any circumstances where this limit is unable to met, an agreement can be made between the tutor and student or guardian after the fact. While at a tutoring session, both the tutor and student should have a mutual respect for one another. The student will not be shown disrespect and I would appreciate the same standards to be upheld towards myself from the student. To ensure that the student/guardian feel as if their money does not go to waste, an agreed upon set of goals will be made known and I will ensure that they are met. As the tutor, I would ensure that the goals set are seen in the student within a reasonable amount of time to the best of my ability.
