Bio

I have been tutoring for 10 years now; all of my students have had improved grades and confidence in learning. I began tutoring in high school, since I had a passion for studying and science. I work best with high school students since I am familiar with their struggles, but I do work with all ages. I took several AP courses and exams and I have a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical and Energy Engineering from University of North Texas.

My custom coursework is helpful, creative, but not too burdensome so the student does not feel overwhelmed or helpless. I tailor make the questions and diagrams so each individual student can understand the concepts in their own terms, not just an old textbook’s terms. The point of students hiring a tutor is to help them better understand the subject; my work gives them the confidence to solve the problems themselves.

There are three core steps I provide for students to learn:
1.Custom word problems to guide the student with solving strategies
2.In session, timed practice questions and quizzes to practice the strategies
3.Extra sets of problems, answers, and notes to allow for self-guided learning.

As a college student, I am accustomed of the pressures of deadlines and procrastination. My methods ensure, regardless of time limit, a better understanding of math and science.

During undergraduate, I spent countless days practicing and creating parts in SolidWorks. I am well versed on several techniques used on the software, and I have used every tool available on the platform. For my design project, I led the team in designing 3 sub-systems, the simulations for each system, and creating the manufacturing version of each component. SolidWorks is my highest skill gained from my engineering degree
