I completed my Master's degree in Interdisciplinary studies with a focus in Mexican American Literature in August 2015. I plan on beginning my Doctorate of Philosophy in English with a critical focus into Latina studies at the University of Texas-San Antonio Fall 2016.
For this reason tutoring is my passion because I can give back to the community. I feel most blessed when I share my talents with young students because I myself in their shoes. I have a talent in teaching which helps me share the light of Literature studies. Since books are the key to my heart I am eagerly looking for the next place to share the artistic space of Literature with every student possible. It thrills me to witness a student propel their reading and writing skills with my help. Many of my early mentors taught me if I can improve the life if just one student than my life was well lived.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
