I am an excellent storyteller and I love to learn. I work to ensure history is never boring. I am excited about helping students experience success in the classroom.
I will focus on critical thinking to help students work through struggles. We will use areas of prior experience to build each student's history knowledge. In addition to a History degree, I am an avid reader and consumer of news from multiple different sources. We will work together to discover bias and learn how to overcome bias when studying history.
My minor at University of Texas at Arlington was in Education and English. This has really helped me bridge the gap for students with regards to essay and short answer response in a social studies classroom.
