My name is Blake, I have worked as an independent tutor for the past ten years. I graduated May 2017 with two degrees, one in Mathematics and one in Mechanical engineering. I earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in December of 2018. I have been on the Dean's list the past five semesters. I have helped classmates for my entire educational career, I greatly enjoy teaching and helping others learn.

Blake actually makes math fun
My daughter has felt completely overwhelmed in her AP pre-calculus class. She will come home feeling like she has no idea how to solve anything in her class and then after an hour of working with Blake where she is actually laughing in her lesson, she gets the best grade on her quizzes and tests of everyone in the class! I can't recommend him highly enough.

Very Good Explainer
Blake was super nice and willing to answer all the questions I had and was very polite about it as well. He is very good at explaining things and even when you don't get it at first he'll explain it in steps where as you can you can understand it. I am very appreciative of Blake and very happy I found him. Would 100% recommend to anyone that might need help.

Great tutor!
Blake has started teaching Pre-Cal to my daughter. He is always quick to respond, Does a thorough job explaining and simplifying concepts. Sends me feedback of how the session went. Very patient. My daughter has tried other tutors and says so far he is the best. Looking forward to a lot more sessions with Blake.

My son walked away from both of his tutoring sessions this weekend with a SMILE on his face, instead of grumbling about hating math again and avoiding studying for his test this coming week. Blake was able to build a good foundation in just two sessions and we will be continuing with him for any future Algebra tutoring needs.
