My experience is as follows:
I have had significant experience tutoring and assisting college chemistry students in chemistry. As a tutor at Central Texas College for five years, I developed the skill to explain difficult concepts in chemistry in simple terms that beginning students could understand. I am very flexible with my teaching methods and willing to accommodate students with various learning capabilities and levels of knowledge. I am very willing to drive to meet students in their home or at a local library, and I am fairly flexible to schedule tutor sessions.
As an undergraduate chemistry major at Baylor University, I have taken 12 hours of math which includes 3 hours of precalculus and 9 hours of calculus. My reinforced knowledge of algebra will allow me to be an excellent tutor for algebra or prealgebra.

My son did not understand the lesson at all at school, but Larry was able to teach him. Time and money well spent!!
Larry worked very well with my son from lesson one. My son was initially resistant to the idea of using a tutor but Larry's calm, quiet demeanor and approach to the topic worked like magic. He understood more about chemistry from lesson one then all the weeks he had been in class. I will definitely use this service again, if needed. Thank you.
Our experiences with Larry have been outstanding. Larry has been tutoring my daughter in Chemistry. She states that his method of teaching is easy to understand, and that he's very patient. He is always very punctual, and very polite. I highly recommend him. OUTSTANDING TUTOR!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
