My son is very comfortable with Rachel. She is patient with him. It's important to me that he is comfortable with his tutor and that he can ask any questions. It helps that she can explain the importance of school and it's good that he hears this from a person other than his dad. Great work!
Mrs. B is tutoring my two children 8 and 15 and they can't wait until there next session. She was very patient with my daughter, who has a hard time putting words together and after tutoring with Mrs. B she was highly excited to get to work on sounding her words out. I highly recommend her to anyone needing tutoring.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
