Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am a college graduate of May 2007, from Stephen F. Austin State University.

My area of study is Mathematics, in which I hold both a B.S. and M.S. of Mathematics.

I am currently seeking a tutoring position, which would further develop my proven mathematical skills and quick learning capabilities, and to utilize my strengths in assessing work priorities, excellent communication and organizational skills.

I chose the field of Mathematics because; it is the science that draws necessary conclusions. It is part of everyday life that requires you to use the use of abstraction and logical reasoning, and is an inherent and integral part of individual and group life.

I like being able to combine skills of the craftsman and the mathematician, and apply them to the areas of teaching, business, and industry problems.

The field of mathematics inspires and makes use of new discoveries, sometimes leads to the development of entirely new disciplines, and is continuously growing.

I have taught linear algebra for over 10 years on the college level.

I posses a masters in mathematics and am well qualified to tutor this level of math.

I would love to break down the topic to a level of understanding for someone who is having trouble understanding it.

Working with others in-groups is also one of my best qualifications.

I know that I get the job done when given the chance.

Through many activities and organizations I developed great leadership and social skills that assist me with working well in large groups, fast paced environments, and how to organize and manage time.

Tutoring is my way of ensuring students of gaining the foundation they need going forward.
