About Charles

Charles G. received his degree in Science Education and Geology from Kansas State University in 1980. He then when to Naval Officer Candidate school in Newport, RI. He received his commission in 1981 and was assigned as the Electronic Warfare Officer aboard the USS Bradley FF-1041. He toured most of the Far East including Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Guam, and Singapore. Upon retiring from the service he became a science teacher at Fort Riley Junior High in Kansas. Here he designed and implemented a hands on science program that dramatically raised students' scores on standardized tests. He then went on to teach at the following private schools: Saint Mary's Hall in San Antonio, TX, Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City, The Meadows School in Las Vegas, Lauranne Collegiate in Memphis and most recently at Trinity School in Midland TX.

Charles has an extensive background in all areas of Science in particular Chemistry, Physical Science and Earth Science. He hastaught those courses for over thirty years.
