Bio

I am a Junior at The Ohio State University. I'm currently studying computer science and minoring in German, and thoroughly enjoy programming. When I was in high school, I needed a tutor for my math and physics classes in order to fully understand the material that was being thought. I am a Junior at The Ohio State University. I'm currently studying computer science and minoring in German, and thoroughly enjoy programming. When I was in high school, I needed a tutor for my math and physics classes in order to fully understand the material that was being thought. Being tutored for 3 years, I know the struggle of not quite understanding a concept, and just needing someone to help me work through tough examples and ask any question I needed to, no matter how stupid it may seem. After a year of tutoring a 3rd grader in the class room, I've also learned the importance of patience while tutoring, something that quite a lot of is required while trying to learn to program for the first time.

Being a college student, I've had to learn a number of different languages for my courses, so I know the struggle of Learning a new language; all the weird Syntax, different names for things, and if it's your first language, just how overwhelming it all is. However, with enough questions, exercises and patience, it's always possible!

All of my math, electrical engineering, physics, and computer science courses have utilized algebra and require a very deep understanding of the basics in order to succeed. I received a 5 on my AP Calculus Ab test, and in my college Calculus 2/3 classes I received an A.

For tutoring swift I currently have an Internship where I code in it as my main job. I had to learn from a book, so I know the value of having someone to ask questions to and to walk you through the material!

For Java, this is the language that I started off in, learning it my senior year of high school for my AP computer science class. This is also the course that my software classes have been taught in at Ohio State, all of which I've received an A in.

For C, this is a language that I was taught in class, and was tested very extensively on it in a Linux environment. I can teach everything from the language basics to pointers, to structs, to function pointers, to makefiles, to even integrating assembly code into C programs to make them extra fast!

Currently I prefer to tutor online as my location will be changing quite a lot over the next few months, but I'd love to help anyone local out in learning a new language or sharpening up their algebra skills while I'm still here!

Swift,

Swift

I am currently co-oping with Toyota programming in swift for the second summer in a row, and review/write swift code for various in-house iOS applications. I am also currently working on an iOS app with a friend which will hopefully launch in the fall at some point. I was taught swift with 2 books and a mentor who was there to ask all my stupid questions to :)
