I have taught Spanish for 33 years and now am retired. I have taught on all levels and believe that the more Spanish is used in the learning, the better the student learns. I try to avoid English speaking as much as possible. I have traveled in many foreign countries and used the Spanish as a missionary.
I plan on moving to Costa Rica for retirement in the future. I believe if the person really wants to learn a language, he will practice using it in the classroom as much as possible. If the student really wants to learn Spanish and will try to learn, I can do results.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taken classes through extension classes from Dallas Seminary. They have all included Bible Studies, Trinitarianism, Humanity and Sin, Soteriology, Ecclesiology and Eschatology, Introduction to Theology, Bible Study Methods and Hermeneutics. These classes you have to get an A or B in the class to get credit. I also took a class in the New Testament and summary of the books and authors.
I have an elementary certificate to teach elementary school classes in 4 states: New York, Illinois, Colorado and Texas. I have taught elementary, middle school and high school in these states. The subjects ranged from core subjects to other subjects like art, music and sign language. I have done this for 33 years with the curriculum and with movies.
