I would love to work with you as your French tutor! I took my first French class in 4th grade, and loved it from the start. I have a major in French Language and Literature from Miami University, with a minor in European Area Studies. I have lived/studied abroad in France on two separate occasions and have visited many different regions of the beautiful country. I have taught one year of French 101 at the university level and was a high school French teacher in a college prep high school in Illinois for 5 years. My family recently relocated to Texas for my husband's job and I now work with students as a French tutor. I also have experience working as an interpreter in France for an American company.
Please feel free to email me with any questions. I would love to set up an introductory meeting where we can discuss an individualized tutoring plan.
I truly love the language, and pride myself in being able to explain even the seemingly most complicated grammar rules in a straightforward manner. I think learning a language should be fun, and would love to help you learn. I hope to hear from you! Bonjour,

I have seen my son's French grade move from a low C/high D to a mid B in half of a semester. Cassie connect so well with my son that he always looks forward to their sessions and is always motivated to be prepared for her.
Cassie's communication is also superb as I have had other tutors just stop sending emails or not even show up. I talk with her regularly, as most of the communication is proactively started by Cassie.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
