I'm Eduardo! I graduated cum laude at my high school with a semester worth of college credits and an International Baccalaureate Diploma. While in high school math, I realized that the classes that helped me most were the ones that taught the clear steps to solve a problem and were engaging in understanding those steps. I try to do the same by giving students the same format my teachers gave me and helped me in math. I give students a clear computation of a concept they have issues with by working out a sample problem step-by-step. After that, I give students sample problems based on the concept solved so they attempt it themselves. If the students make a mistake, we work out where the mistake was and how to solve it.

With the subject of mathematics, I have taken International Baccalaureate mathematics, including IB Higher Level Mathematics. I have also passed the AP Calculus AB with my IB coursework. Overall, I have considered mathematics as my most favorite subject aspiring me to take almost every IB math course. With tutoring, I have experience in one-on-one math tutoring through my school's tutoring club in my junior and senior years. I tutored students in high school math almost every Thursday after school. Outside school, I have tutored my brother in Algebra I almost every week. I am currently a volunteer tutor with the Latino Student Fund (LSF), an organization that helps underrepresented students in Washington DC. In the LSF, I serve as a permanent virtual math tutor with a third grader and a floater virtual tutor with various students.

I am willing to tailor to every student's needs as best as possible therefore welcome any suggestions from both students and parents. I believe that each student is unique in their needs and requires them to have the best education possible. I am easy to reach and will provide a response as fast as possible. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to schedule a lesson, I am more than happy to answer them and help schedule a time with you.
