Math has always been the one thing that came naturally to me. I grew up in a STEM and business family where crunching numbers was an everyday affair; be it from my accounting mother, economics father, educationalists uncle and aunt, or even from my engineering and science geek uncles! Thankfully the Math love bug bit me and it's one of those things I'll forever be grateful for.

I have come to the realization that Math does not come naturally to many people out there and this has made me more passionate about teaching and tutoring. There is no greater joy than seeing that light bulb go off in your student when it all starts to make sense.

I have experience tutoring students in Math both privately and from tutoring companies. My students come from elementary school all the way to college level and even adults seeking help for test prep exams. In addition to tutoring, I also taught several Math courses at Eastern Florida State College, Melbourne campus. My class size ranged from 10 to 30 students. I have also had returning students take various of my Math courses simply because I challenge them without being overwhelmed.

I specialize in teaching chemistry and all math topics up to trigonometry, statistics, linear algebra, differential equations and everything in between.

My students' grades improved significantly and I also had returning visitors after their first math session. I am available for tutoring during the week from 11 am to 6 pm. I am able to travel for face to face tutoring or even meet up online!

My goal is to provide you value for your money and I look forward to helping you find your route to success in Mathematics!

Differential Equations,

Differential Equations

I have taken various Differential Equation courses during my undergraduate and graduate degree in Mathematics. My favorite topics were 1st and 2nd differential equations, partial differential equations along with systems of differential equations. There are numerous ways of doing a problem in this class and I like to simplify this process for my students. So far I have been very successful using this approach on my students by breaking down and minimizing the steps. As time continues my tutoring style progresses and becomes more catered towards the student.
Linear Algebra,

Linear Algebra

I love Linear Algebra and I took different course levels of it during my undergraduate and graduate degree in Mathematics. I continue to improve my skills and techniques by tutoring students mainly in college and also brushing up on my own. I do that by reading up on new and improved ways to solve certain linear algebra questions. I hope to help students that are struggling by showing them a different approach to their problems.

ADHD

ADHD

I have tutored Math to several students with ADD/ADHD where 100% of them are from high school and college. All of them were also returning students and their grades improved significantly for all of them. Most of them ended up with an A grade, while some barely missed it by getting a B. I believe with my continued curiosity on learning different teaching techniques, my goal is to assist every ADD/ADHD student I come across by having them achieve the highest grade possible and also believing that they can accomplish anything they set their mind to.

A+++++ Tutor

Mamie taught my wife and I (college students) about the first chapter of our Summer Precalculus class. It gave us a sense of relief after she clearly and patiently taught us the concepts and formulas needed to complete the assignments. It restored our confidence in math all over again and we can see a long relationship with Mamie in our future calculus classes. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!!!

Helpful Stats Tutoring

I had a lesson with Mamie to help me learn my online business analysis course which is statistics based, she was extremely helpful and I feel that I was actually learning and absorbing the information. Great with other math based subjects as well. Helped me with some business calculus also.
