I love to help people in learning Chinese and having the best study they can have. Through my Chinese major in college and my working experiences, I am able to use a unique combination of education experiences and working experiences, and help my students to learn Chinese easier and more fun. I am an experienced tutoring and teaching for more than 6 years, including one-on-one and group, both children and adults.
I graduated from National Taiwan University, the best university in Taiwan, majored in Chinese Literature. In addition, I received several times of "The Top Of Class Award" in college. My Master's degree is Communication Science, graduated from University of Connecticut, USA. I was a reporter for Washington Chinese News for 6 years. During those years, I had chances to interview people with varied background, including politician, business people, artists, professors, and people with different talents. I was also an editor for Washington Chinese News, selected and edited all kinds of news from the community. When I was in Taiwan, I worked with The McGraw-Hill Companies as Assistant Manager to publish books in Taiwan, also the same experience with Prentice Hall International Book Company, both are well-known international publishers.
I know the secret tips of learning Chinese language. There are many ways to learn Chinese easily. Listen first, it is very important to learn Chinese with your ears first, not with your eyes. I also know how to communicate with students and listen to students' hearts, and to meet students' needs and interests.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
