Hi, I’m Tee (they/them), and I have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry, and I am currently working on my master’s degree in Environmental Toxicology. In high school, I was an IB student who also tested in multiple AP subjects, so I have a good understanding of these programs.

I have been virtual tutoring online for the past year, and I love being able to help students understand what seems like complicated topics by breaking them down into simpler concepts. I primarily tutor high school and college students in a variety of math and science subjects, and I emphasize active learning during my sessions. So, you can expect to actually be completing problems yourself while I provide guidance. You can also expect to be asked relevant questions related to your material throughout the session as I strongly believe in strengthening your recall ability to increase your confidence about the material outside of sessions.

I am a very patient person who believes that students learn best through guided practice and actually working problems on their own.

Please contact me with any questions you may have or to get started with tutoring!

No-Show and Cancellation Policy:
There is a 12-hour cancellation policy for all sessions meaning cancellation requests must be sent prior to 12 hours before the start of the scheduled session. In the event that a lesson is canceled within 12 hours of the start of a session, a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the session will be assessed.

In the event of a no-show, a fee equal to the cost of the session will be assessed. Students are considered a no-show if they fail to log in to the online session within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time. So, if a lesson is scheduled for 3:00 pm, a student will have until 3:15 pm to log in without being penalized. After this window, I will log out of the session, and a no-show fee will be assessed.
