Texas Tech (Early Childhood Edu)
I am currently an Early Childhood major, currently a sophomore at Texas Tech. I love children and making difference in a child's life is my ultimate goal! I am very well versed in writing, English, vocabulary, and helping with ELAR. I worked with first graders this last semester as a student teacher and was able to be hands in during their reading and language time.
I am very good at explaining how adding and subtracting and how numbers work. Explaining the process of certain math machines is something I am good at.
I am good at sounding out letters and and making words with letters. I am good at conjunctions. I am very good at explaining grammar and punctuation and overall meaning of words.
I am very well versed in both of these due to completion of 2 years of an early childhood education program. I understand it is pivotal for a child to understand writing sentences with correct handwriting and punctuation.
I enjoy spending time with children and helping improve their educational skills. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
