About James

Iron sharpens iron.

This is one of the most important codes in my life. Young and old alike, we have all needed a form of help in our lives. Whether it be learning how to ride a bike, write a 20 page research paper, or simply just know take the right or left path, we all have needed it.

I have recently returned to West Texas after spending some in the Pacific Northwest and have several goals lined up. My main aim at this juncture in my life is to return back to school and earn a law degree. However, in returning back to West Texas, I have decided to focus portions of my time in giving back and helping anybody that seeks it. I graduated in 2007 from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in sociology. In 2010, I graduated with a Masters in Sciences in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in forensic sciences. During those years, I gained a vast amount of experience in these fields along with several others. I am also well versed in writing and constructing intricate research papers.

If you seek any type of assistance and mentoring in any of these fields, don't hesitate and contact me at the information provided.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Criminal Justice

I believe I am extremely qualified in tutoring students in the field of criminal justice. I took various criminal justice courses during my undergraduate and graduate school programs. I also have real world experience in the criminal justice field with crime scene investigation, witness interrogation, and an understanding of laws and policies. I can provide my college transcripts along with my coursework to vouch for my experience in this field.

Psychology

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2007. Along with this, my completed various psychology courses during graduate school as well. I feel I can express and explain many of theories and schematics derived from this specific field.

Sociology

I am very well qualified in tutoring in the field of sociology. Sociology was my minor during my undergraduate program at Texas Tech. I am very well versed in the terms and various theories behind the subject. Sociology was also a huge part of my graduate school curriculum from 2008 through 2010.
