My name is Ahmed. I earned my bachelor's degree with minor in education December, 2012 with a GPA 3.95. I have tutored in many high and middle schools including Bruce Randolph, Skinner Middle School, CEC College and Hill Campus. I also used to tutor math and physic overseas. I do speak Arabic and French. I have my Colorado Secondary Teaching License, 7-12 grade. , I have taught developmental math classes at a Community College of Denver. and College Algebra at a University of Colorado. Currently, I teach undergraduate courses at Texas Tech. I am pursuing a PhD in statistics.
I am truly passionate about teaching and tutoring mathematics or physics. I believe that to get strong in a challenging subject such as mathematics, a student needs one-on-one tutoring.
I see tutoring as a partnership between a tutor and a student to reach the latter grade expectation. My goal as a tutor is to assist my student to link his/her prior knowledge with the math subject he/she is studying. The better I know my student including his experience with math, his/her strategies to solve problem in mathematics the better the outcome will be. I help the student answer the question "whys" and "hows" each statement is true, instead of just memorizing facts. I tend to explain the rationale behind each formula and clarify the procedure to solve math problems. It takes time, effort, will and a good tutor to be an A student in math.
I hope to help many students perform at or above their grade levels and meet the challenges they face in their educations. I am quite flexible with scheduling days and times for tutoring. I can help in these math subjects: Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry and probability-statistics. Greetings,

I understand that some urgent event may happen in life. So, I request a cancellation of at least an hour. Thanks.
Ahmed did a great job explaining concepts that I was having problems understanding. He was a big help and I definitely will remember him if I need help again.
Ahmed is a great math tutor. He was incredibly well prepared and dedicated to making sure that I understood the concepts we reviewed. If I had trouble with one type of explanation, he figured out another way to explain the solution. He also went out of his way to send me an extra lesson review after our session was complete. In addition to reviewing math concepts, Ahmed also provided insight into testing strategies, which I appreciated greatly. I look forward to working with him again in the future.
I had Ahmed to help me prepare for a coming test. He taught me test strategies and lot of math tricks I did not know before. With him, maths start to click and make sense to me. I recommend Ahmed 100%
I am very pleased with the tutoring I am receiving from Ahmed. He has great teaching abilities and is able to help a student progress. It’s obvious in every lesson I have had with him that he truly loves to teach. He is enthusiastic both about his subject and finding ways to help a student learn. Ahmed is patient but also pushes a student to progress without being pushy. (Hope that makes sense)
He is also very professional. He arrives early for every lesson and is always well prepared. I am happy to recommend Ahmed.
I want you to know that my tutor Ahmed is a very good and patient teacher. I have learned in 3 lessons the alphabet and learning some vocabulary and how to put letters together and reading simple words. I can not tell how pleased I am with the lessons so far.
I find Ahmed very enthusiastic and certainly invested in helping his student learn at his or her personal pace. He is very informative and quick to discern what is needed to get across a point. I am very happy to be his student and I would recommend him without hesitation.
I am an older English speaking person striving to learn a new tongue as well as a new written script. Ahmed demonstrated patience in his teaching abilities and expressed commendation that urged this Student to forge onward in this endeavor. Within my first three lessons Ahmed had me reading the Arabic script (though I was slow at it) and he urged me to write and attempt to connect the letters. I was so encouraged with that quick progress!
Ahmed communicated times, meeting locations and lesson expectations excellently. I appreciated his teaching skills, his patience with this older Student, and his enthusiasm in teaching his beautiful language so well.
I wrote this review to also commend Ahmed for his respectful disposition and punctuality. Thank you.
My experience with WyzAnt has been very good.the tutor Ahmed is working out really well. I asked for his help with my daughter, his skill and ability to teach what he knows is terrific, he is also great with communication, scheduling and promptness. he also gives a very clear review of the tutoring session in a follow up e-mail. I would highly recommend Ahmed to any who ask for help.
My son has been struggling with math all year. I finally tried Ahmed and after 3 sessions he went from failing his homework assignments to getting 100%. Ahmed is a great tutor that is easily relates to teens, he is dependable, easy to reach and more than willing to help even when he's not here!
We're very grateful!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taken a Logic Class in college. I am familiar with the concepts and aware that this class is new to lot of students. I approach the concepts to my tutees by using real life examples and also using math applications. All my classes I have taken so far, here in USA, ended up with As. I know how to deal perfectly with any math concepts and like to share my strategies with my students as well as assisting them in building math thinking.
Thanks for reading.
