About Caitlin

I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. I then spent a year and a half living in Costa Rica teaching English in impoverished areas. For the past 4 1/2 years, I have worked as a 911 emergency dispatcher in Longview, where I receive calls for emergency services from Spanish speakers on a daily basis. I also routinely provide Spanish interpreting services for the police department. Teaching is my passion, and I would love to help your student improve and advance his or her skills in the Spanish language, whether it be homework help, test preparation, or just a desire to learn the language! I am also certified in TESOL for those needing help learning or practicing English. I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
