Excellent Teacher, Very Patient!!

We have now had three lessons with Mrs. Tamaki. I am very pleased with how much we were able to learn and remember in those lessons. She is very thorough with the length of the lessons, the consistent coaching skills, and the amount of homework she assigns. It all correlated and helps you retain what she is teaching. Mrs. Tamaki has made a very difficult language very fun to learn. She gets you practicing with her verbally and written, helps you understand why things flow the way they do and makes sure you understand that concept before she moves on. She has always been available by text when we have a question about homework, making it easy to continue, instead of waiting for the next lesson. If you are considering learning Japanese, Mrs. Tamaki is the perfect tutor for the job!

Great teacher

Tamaki, as before was a great teacher. This time we had a lot to go over. I enjoy the conversation in Japanese. She makes it comfortable for you to speak it without feeling bad for messing up. It feels like it's okay to so you can be corrected and learn from your mistakes. It's like learning a language as a child where you learn in school how to say things. She's better then a normal teacher or anyone else I've learned from. She makes it very personable and follows through with what she says she'll do. Over all I'll still say for anyone to tutor with her. She's very knowledgeable and easy going. I'll continue with her for a while.
