Hi, I'm Danielle! I graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Science degree in Molecular Pathology from Texas Tech Health Science Center. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and English. While in college, I especially enjoyed the study of all living things and the hands-on experience I received during the accompanying lab class. Being able to apply the information I had learned to real-life work was always exciting to me and I'm blessed that I had wonderful professors who supported me in my studies. They consistently challenged me to not only learn the content but also think outside the box to solve real-world problems. I bring this same growth mindset to my students when I am tutoring and teaching. For my lesson plans, I introduce the subject to provide a solid foundation and then ask my students to apply the knowledge they have learned using real-world case studies, workbooks, and 3-D handheld models for difficult-to-visualize subjects. Additionally, I follow up with the students to ensure they understand the content and give them the opportunity to ask additional questions. I highly encourage students to ask questions during the entire lesson.

I have a year of tutoring biology, cell and molecular biology, biotechnology, and environmental biology online. I work 1-on-1 with students on these subjects but have also tutored in a group setting of 4-5 students. Additionally, I am a public speaker and I educate undergraduate, graduate, and adult learners both online and in person on these subjects as well as the intersection of healthcare and project management. I am a certified project manager and advanced scrum master.

I am passionate about education and thoroughly enjoy teaching. I encourage any resources and suggestions from students and parents they would like to provide.
