In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Currently work with students diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. I work to develop plans that are associated with the student's specific educational needs. In addition I currently work as a diagnostician within in the K-12 system.
I have previously worked as a Special Education teacher for 10 years working closely with students with Autism. I currently work as an Educational Diagnostician and help develop academic plans and schedule of services for students with Autism. Additionally I work with a team to identify and diagnosis students with Autism in the public school setting.
