Rich helped my son who is high functioning autistic with chemistry. He was so patient, encouraging, and extremely interesting. My son went from a C to an A average in the final 9 weeks of school. Incredible. He even helped my oldest son who is in college with a psychology paper (Rich has a psychology degree as well) and my son made an A. I found myself listening to the tutoring session just because he had so many interesting everyday examples to help explain the chemistry concepts. Would highly recommend him!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
