About Craig

Bio

I have taught University level physics courses for several years, from freshman to graduate level. Most of my small scale tutoring comes from helping my own students during office hours, though I have taken independent tutoring jobs as well.

My philosophy for physics tutoring is that the great majority of difficulties come from getting stuck on a single unclear step. One-on-one time is often needed to get you "unstuck", and afterwards the rest will be a lot less confusing.

I have taught college freshman level General Physics, both first and second semesters (mechanical and electromagnetic).

I used to work for The Princeton Review, doing Physics section MCAT preparation.

My schedule is fairly flexible, so I can usually set something up with a day's notice.

C++

I have used C++ for large scale numerical calculations on Windows and Linux. I'm familiar with the ins and outs of how the precompiler treats the code, how memory is managed, pointers, and object-oriented coding.
