I like to focus on the fun aspect of education so as to induce the need and want to learn more as compared to the status quo of memorizing books and lengthy paragraphs. My students end up learning more than the course requires, thus easing the pressure of taking the test and enhancing their knowledge of professional environments as well.
The ability to see science and theories in action everywhere... and make others see them too.
My IELTS students have come in with a goal of 6.5 to 7.0 in IELTS, yet, with their interest and potential, they achieve 7.5 and above within the time limit. My ESL and ESOL students have also had success in their endeavors by completing the course content in about 2/3rds of the length of the course with enough time to relax, reminisce and study.
I've completed part of my MBA degree in Marketing and Human resources and I have 2.5 years of experience in Marketing and teaching to go along with it. This has given me the chance to combine both aspects (along with my other qualifications) to give a more comprehensive teaching experience to my students than my fellows.
With a desire to learn and teach, I'd say I'm an easy going individual with a flexible schedule who's willing to go more than the job requires to achieve the targeted results. Feel free to ask as many questions as you want and I'll be happy to answer. There is no silly question though it may be out of its timeline but every question has its due importance. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I've taught Ielts and Esl with a recognised institute for almost 2 years. I'm from Karachi, Pakistan and I taught with EUREKA (you can look it up online).
I've studied IELTS since 2011 when I gave my first test and scored a 7.5. I began teaching IELTS from Sept 6, 2013 and have taught it till May 2015. I've had different kinds of students over the years, and the kind I love teaching most are the ones who dare to challenge the status quo teaching methods. I go as far as the job requires me to do so in order to be successful.
I have had a passion for marketing and marketing procedures since I was a child because thinking about how to change a product sets one on a path to innovate. I began studying marketing in my first semester in college and since then, I have excelled in the subject. Being from a medical science and engineering background, I was studying computer sciences in college and I believed that was my edge over conventional marketers. What people thought would hinder my marketing skills actually became my greatest strength and I ended up with a marketing and teaching job by the time I graduated, thus leading me to pursue marketing as a major in my MBA. I share experiences and educate my students as best I can with a combination of all these experiences.
I've been teaching IELTS and I've studied TOEFL for coming to the United States, they're very similar. I used to teach in a nationally recognised institute in Karachi, Pakistan before coming to the United States. Most of my Ielts students usually got about a point or more above their desired targets and my ESL students gained much more out the course than just grammar and vocabulary with the right effort.
