SUNY Binghamton/ Ohio State University (Industrial Tech)
Texas A & M (Graduate Coursework)
I am married with two wonderful sons. My profession is in Research (physiology). I was always throughout High School and College, top of class with honors in Math. The more I practiced , the more I enjoyed Math. I graduated from SUNY Binghamton majoring in Industrial Tech/science. I did some graduate studies in Ohio State University and Texas A&M in Bio Medical Sciences. Although math was my favorite subject, I felt I could be of more resourceful with a Business/science Major. I have been an employee of UT Southwestern Medical School for some years and also helped manage my Dentist brother's office for many years.
My thirst for knowledge and helping others to achieve their educational goal has led me to want to be a tutor. Math is and always will be my favorite subject. I look at all students as my own children, wanting to help them understand the foundation of math and once that foundation is achieved, then building on top of that foundation becomes very easy. Once the student learns the principle of Mathematics, this subject becomes very enjoyable. Without mathematics, any goal will be difficult to reach! I have tutored math in upstate New York and College Station, Texas. Please feel free to visit me for a free consult. I am very motivated, patient, honest and enjoy helping others. My strong area in math is between grades 4-9. Looking forward to meeting you soon and become a teaching team!
Not until my student understands the concept, I will quit! I do not go only by clock, I do care and want the time spent to be productive. When you achieve your goal, is like I achieve my goal. With all that said, I am very strong in algebra, geometry, prealgebra and trigonometry.
Although I am a technical person , I do believe face to face communication and meeting each other in person is a MUST! Give it a try and contact me for a free consult! Looking forward to meeting you soon. I am married with two wonderful sons. My profession is in Research (physiology). In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
