Dallas Baptist University (Master's)
I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Master's degree in teaching in December 2012. I am originally from China. I have been teaching Mandarin as a Second Language since 2007, including working as a full time Mandarin teacher at an international school for three years and at a Christian school in Fort Worth for one year. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
