Bio

I've worked the vast majority of my professional life as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Though I've served in a variety of settings I've been accustomed to Skilled Nursing in particular. This setting really appeals to my creative side and allows my talents to come out to the full. Ask any therapist and they'll tell you patient education is everything. I'm constantly providing patient education on everything from postural awareness during exercises to proper gait mechanics during ambulation with personal assistive devices. Moreover, I've been able to breakdown movement patterns and task for more detailed instruction with higher success rates to boot. I love tutoring because education is a way of life for me.

Not only am I a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant but a Certified Personal Trainer as well. I feel as though my background in these two professions have help make me a great gross anatomy and physiology tutor. Functional Anatomy is my specialty. If you are currently in a Physical Therapy Program I am your guy.

I'm a sport fan and I play a lot of basketball. A lot of basketball. I excel at finishing at the rim, creating space, and rebounding.

ADHD

When I was diagnosed with ADHD back in 2002 it was a sigh of relief for my parents because we were finally going to get some clarity on what to do in terms of addressing my behavioral issues in school. Prior to my diagnoses and subsequent treatment I was a hindrance to my teacher/classmates because I was unable to focus and thus acted out. My therapist prescribed me Concerta and it helped tremendously. There were also the strategies that we employed to ensure my success during the school day and while doing homework. I continue to overcome my ADHD, functioning as a proud business owner and serving in a demanding role as Physical Therapist Assistant.
