I am currently a speech therapist and I work with kids ages 0-18. I have been in the profession for almost 4 years and I love every minute. Being a speech therapist is more like being a "clinical teacher." I have experience wit teaching tons of language and english using different modalities from traditional classroom practices to using games. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent spare time in my college years tutoring at an elementary school to help boost low test scores. I tutored in math, reading, writing, and also taught some extracurricular courses such as creative dance and art. Helping kids to realize their full potential both academically and personally brings me great joy. I am always looking for more opportunities to shed my gifts upon others.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
