I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (Statistics track) with a minor in Survey Methodology and a concentration in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park and I am currently pursing a PhD in Biostatistics at the University of Texas, School of Public Health. I have tutored students of all ages in K-12 and especially in middle school, high school in college. I am familiar, if not, well-versed in most mathematics and statistics subjects as I do have the abovementioned degrees. At my undergraduate institution, I was employed as a math coach and tutored College Algebra, Pre-calculus, Calculus I, Calculus, II, Calculus III, Statistics, and Differential Equations, among other things.
My goal is to help you to become more comfortable in the subject area by addressing your concerns and providing you with the tools necessary to succeed. I intend on examining and subsequently, addressing your strengths and weaknesses to facilitate your comprehension of the material. I obviously love math and statistics and since these subjects are commonly used in real - life situations, these subjects are very important.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students.
