My title in the United States Air Force was Education and Training Specialist. My main duties consisted of training military airmen and select civilian personnel with upgrade training requirements for skills advancement necessary for progression in their respective career fields. I provided study materials as well as classroom instruction, administered exams, and tracked individual progression using an electronic database. Successful students were awarded higher skill levels and eventual promotion. I have 10 years of teaching experience and obtained a degree in Education from the United States Air Force. In addition, I was a Career Counselor for 3 years, advising over 300 military personnel with guidance regarding their career goals and needs.
Life after the military provided me with further opportunities for continued scholastic endeavors. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I scored very high in my ASVAB tests (mid 80s to mid 90s). The higher your score, the better selection of jobs becomes available to you in the military. I will help you score high so you can choose the job that you want. I am a 20 year retired Air Force veteran.
