California State University Monterey Bay (Math)
I recently graduate in 2015 where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in general mathematics in Seaside Ca at Cal State University Monterey Bay.
I relocated to Houston, Tx last year. My passion is math, I think its fun and want to help children have a better experience and share the same love of math that I have. I am hardworking, punctual, creative, charismatic, and patient. I have prior experience in tutoring children, which I also currently do. I believe any child can do anything they put their mind to, sometimes we just have to put it in a way where they will understand and stay interested.
On my extra time I enjoy reading, writing, outdoor activities or anything that helps expand my knowledge. I love to learn and know there is a lot more out there for me to learn. I would love to share my passion with anyone I can.
I have studied all types of math which my degree required and understand every aspect of these particular subjects such as the rules and why they apply and what makes them useful.

Just because it does not come natural does not mean we cannot learn it. Positively comes a long way, it helps to remind them that they can do it. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I received my bachelors degree is general mathematics in 2015. In the duration of my time in college I have tutored numerous students in maths such as college algebra (finite math) , calculus, discrete math and so on. The methods I have used was to look over the lesson the professor have provided follow those step and do practice problems on my own to get a complete understanding and find other ways to solve the problems so the student would see it more than one way, and break it down for them to get a better understanding.
