University of Houston (Finance, Sales)
My love of teaching comes from my love of helping others better themselves. Nothing is more rewarding than helping a student achieve his or her goals. I have a background in finance, which combines my loves of math and problem solving. I work in the finance industry and have a finance degree from the University of Houston. I have been tutoring many levels of math for over six years and have worked with children ages 6 to 17. I spend a great amount of time understanding how my students learn and process information so that I can teach in the most effective way possible. I am patient and diligent in working with students to ensure that they understand the material and are able to apply their new knowledge in school.
I minored in sales and marketing and went through a very extensive sales program. A large part of the sales curriculum is personal branding. Interviewing skills are one of the most important soft skills in today's professional world. I teach a step-by-step process to answering interviewing questions that are sure to impress your interviewer.

Because of my experience in public speaking, I am able to give my students real world training.
I am happy to tutor at the student's home or office and I am flexible with tutoring hours. I am looking forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your goals!

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
