I love photography and I love helping people learn. Tutoring allows me to help others learn about photography and maybe have the same passion that I have for it. I like to think of myself as a very patient tutor. I'm not satisfied until the student is satisfied they have understood the lesson and is ready to move on. At times I like to have the student complete assignments or projects depending on the subject matter.
I have been practicing photography for just over 10 years now and have a background in outdoor landscapes as well as portraits, glamour and fashion photography. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
