My love of teaching Tennis comes from many years of playing and realizing that Tennis is a truly Great sport that can be played your entire life. I believe that a person can love Tennis as much as I do with some dedicated effort to improving their tennis ability. I always tell my students "The better you make your game the more you love the sport." I have helped many students from ages 8 to 70+ improve their tennis skills. I played tennis in College and have also Invented a New Tennis Racket!
I specialize in teaching Advanced Juniors, but I have as many hours teaching 10-and-under beginners and Adults. Whether it is a beginner or advanced player, I have the ability to keep my students challenged and excited that they are improving. I like to have feedback from my students on that day's lesson so that we can have an even better future lesson.
I try very hard to have a very flexible schedule that meets what that student needs. But, I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. I will also offer makeup lessons.
I have a location to give private lessons but will also travel to other locations if it is more convenient for the student.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your goals. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I started playing basketball in 6th grade and played thru High School. I played in Basketball Leagues for 10 years. I taught Youth Basketball summer camps for 5 years.
I have been cooking since I was 13 years old. My dad was a chef in Chicago when he first came to the US from France. I learned a great deal of my cooking skills from him. I have managed 3 different Restaurants for a total of 12 years. My main skills in cooking are in taking basic dishes and turning them into a dish that has more flavor and appeal. This is very helpful for people on a budget and who have limited time to prepare meals.
I played tennis for Central Washington University. I have taught private tennis lessons for 15 years. I taught youth summer camps for the city of Houston and Katy. I was the director of tennis for a private school for 3 years. I'm currently working on a new tennis racket that I designed, and I have applied for US patents. I very much love the game of tennis and feel my knowledge in this sport can help those that want to become better tennis players.
