About Mahamadou

I am a Senior student in Electrical Engineering at Louisiana Tech university with a minor in Mathematics and Computer Science. I am a lifelong learner, my education is ongoing. I invest a considerable time learning my subjects of interest which are Mathematics, Physics and computer science. One of the reasons I love tutoring is because I learn along with the students. Every mathematics concept, whether basic or not, is useful for a lifetime. "I still get to do 1+1 in a daily basis".

I am now an Electronics Engineer for IDS (Independent Driving Systems). My hobbit is to program the PIC micro-controller for cool stuffs such as making the lawnmower remote control, interface with Matlab image recognition systems. Pedestrian detection, smart home, voice controlled systems...

The world is changing,Manufacturing jobs are replaced by robots and traditional jobs such as Taxi CAB drivers, Uber Drivers, Pizza Deliverers, Mail deliverers... won't be available in 20 years because of self driving cars, drones... However, there would be a talent shortage in STEM as companies would need people to program and build those systems. The Basics of all is Mathematics. We must know it for a secure future.

I have been officially tutoring for almost three (3) years to students ranging from middle school to college. My tutoring experience is mainly focused on mathematics, especially Algebra (I and II), Trigonometry, calculus (I and II) and some physics (Newtonian Physics, and Electrics and Magnetic Fields). I am also fluent in French.

As a student who struggled with Math in the beginning (7th grade), I can explain both math and physics by taking good analogies so the students can understand by not thinking of variables as x and y, but as apple and oranges so they can overcome their struggle with math in a few weeks. Mastering Math is like mastering sports or performing art. It requires energy, time, work, discipline and perseverance. If you fall back, do not dismay or get frustrated. Get a good tutor to give a jump start to your brain to grasp any math concept as I did. I ended up being good at math, so can you be.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Algebra 2

I can help students understand the system of equations, absolute values, exponential and logarithmic work.

Calculus

I helped many students with some of the hardest topics such as the manipulation of the double and triple integral to polar, Cylindrical and Spherical coordinates and their application to find the surface of Area and the second moment (moment of Inertia).

Precalculus

I helped previous student understanding functions and graph, handling effectively power of functions, trigonometric functions and their graph.
