I have a bachelor of arts with specialization in plastic expression from an accredited University in the United States. My native language is Spanish, I have two years of experience teaching English as a foreign language and three years teaching art to children between four and 16 years old. I have one year of experience teaching Spanish in after-school programs in Houston ISD schools such as River Oaks Elementary, Durham Elementary, and Harvard Elementary among others. I am certified to teach all levels of art and Spanish in the State of Texas. My lessons are very creative and fun, as I like to use ludic activities such as games and crafts to teach.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Bacholor of Visual Arts with specialization in Fine Arts from and accredited university in the United States. I have been working as a freelance artist for more than 8 years an exhibited in New York, Atlanta and South America among other places.
I have a Bachelor's of Visual Arts with specialization in Fine Arts; so I've been professionally trained in Analogue and Digital photography. I worked for 2 years as a photographer for a publishing company based in Colombia.
1. The student will comprehend basic or advanced vocabulary when listening to the language.
2. The student will recognize vocabulary when reading, and will read sentences with the correct pronunciation identifying the main idea.
3. The student will be able to write simple sentences or paragraphs depending on his/her level.
4. Students will communicate on everyday topics using short responses and short questions.
Examples of basic topics are:
Description of persons, telling time, food and beverages, clothing, sizes, numbers, family members, rooms, description of places, parts of the body, etc.
Each lesson has a main topic that is used to create the center point of conversation and starting from there, grammar and phonetics are taught.
*Depending on the level of the student and age, the topics vary; with advanced students the vocabulary gets more complex and the conversations are expected to be longer.
The methodology can be different if the student is pretty young.
